For those of you that read my post concerning my search for a Nintendo Wii, I thought I would update you on what has happened.

Nothing... Zilch...Nada... Zero.

I have heard that the Nintendo Wii exists somewhere in the universe.  The Walmart in La Plata, MD received a total of three last week.  Wow, three for a store that serves thousands of patrons every day.  In most cases, I receive little smiles and a look that says good luck

My son knows that he is getting a Wii for Christmas and because his dad is not willing to brave the cold and stand in line at 2:30 AM, I have told him that he will have to receive after Christmas.  Perhaps, some miracle will occur that will allow me to intersect with the elusive game system.

The search continues because I want to be able to get my son what he wants.  It is a good gift.  I am his father and it is my wish to give him the desires of his heart.  This principle is not new to us, but throughout history fathers have provided for their children and it was this concept that Jesus used to show His desire to provide for His children.

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Jesus knows you.  He knows your thoughts and loves you so much that he died for you.  He wants to provide for you and give good things to those that are obedient to His Word.

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
