The world we live in is wicked.  I do not say that because I am a doomsday preacher, but because I read the newspaper.  Generally, I consider myself to be a positive person and make every effort to look at things in a positive manner, but it does not take a person with extreme intelligence (or rocket scientist) to figure out that this world is wicked.

There is a good thing about living in a wicked world.  Perhaps, you are scratching your head while trying to figure out how there can be anything good about living in such a sin filled world, but the Bible states:

Romans 5:20 ...But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.

Wherever there is sin, then there is more Jesus.  This translates into a simple principle.  We should be able to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ so effectively that we can impact our community with the Apostolic doctrine simply because of the sin of this very wicked world.  There is nothing that stands between us and reaching our world.  The vision of reaching our community is simple...preach the gospel.
