The writer of Nahum so beautifully wrote...
Nahum 1:7
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
The Bible states the:
This does not include references to His goodness, but the message is clear and when we experience difficult times...God is good. His goodness extends to His being our protection and knowing those that have hope in Him. (trust translates to have hope in the Hebrew).
In a world that seems upside down, Jesus is our hope, but it is not enough to just say he is our hope. We must truly put our faith in Him. Remember...
2Corinthians 5:7
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
and, by the way...I want the Giants to win tomorrow.
