In Luke 5, Jesus is with Simon Peter on his boat and Jesus gives Peter a simple command...

Luke 5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

The word nets is in bold font because we all have an obligation to be a soulwinner. That is our mission and purpose in life...

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

If you read further into Luke 5, you will find what Simon Peter did...

Luke 5:5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

Luke 5:6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

Jesus commanded to Peter to throw nets, but Peter threw but one net. Simply, he lacked faith and found that he could not do it alone. We are in this Christian walk together and we cannot reap the harvest by ourselves and therefore people will be lost through broken nets.

We are to create disciples through the teaching and preaching of the Word. That's why churches exist. It brings people of the faith together to strengthen each other while building resources to reach the lost...

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
