I have no intentions of becoming political on this blog. I think it is irresponsible for churches to become part of the political process. It is important and imperative as Christians to vote, but it is not the responsibility of the church to endorse a candidate or encourage the congregation to vote for a particular candidate...
Now that I have said that, I came across an editorial on the Free Lance Star of Fredericksburg (www.Fredericksburg.com). This opinion piece is written by Michael Gerson and can be found in newspapers across the country. What caught my attention was in the printed version of the Free Lance Star, the tagline above the article said Oh, those Pentecosatals. Of course, I had to read it and the link is below...
