I recently heard a testimony of a young man that said that he prayed and felt the peace of God cover him.  This peace released him from a few weeks of constant "worry".  He said he worried about the things he could not control and his beautiful testimony reminded me of a scripture found in 1 Corinthians 14...

33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

When this scripture is quoted, we often hear "God is not the author of confusion" and that is true, but we need to look beyond the conjunction.  We know that God is not found in or around confusion because He is the author of peace. Dictionary.com defines "peace" as "freedom of the mind from annoyance, distraction, anxiety, an obsession, etc.; tranquillity; serenity.".  Peace is a vacation for our mind and spirit.  True peace can only be found through the one that scripted it and allowed it to be read of all those that have a relationship with Him.

The gentlemen that gave the testimony stated the key to finding peace in our lives.  He said I "prayed" and God took the constant and nagging worry from him.  If your life seems overwhelmed in confusion then you need a conversation with the one that authored peace and I as for you what Paul prayed for the Romans...

Romans 15
33
Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
